Unfortunately the added piece that was used is a different colour so the rep is coming out to look at it this week. Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ The children's carpet. Similar colour. Half the price of the cashmere carpet but still better then rental house carpet. After years of renting we knew we wanted decent carpet. It looks a little small in the 6m bench. might have to upgrade later on. Re: Building our first house with Aspect Homes Qld 109Jan 29, 2017 2:02 pm So much has happened! It all looks great, I tend to agree and think that 60cm cooktops look small especially if you have a large benchtop. Your carpet looks so plush! ? The renderer did a half arsed job last week and just left. Waiting to see when when it will be fixed. Not the worse job I've ever seen but it's not finished and he left all the tape and plastic on the windows and his rubbish everywhere. :/ The tape is baked on the frames good and proper now. I know aircon fitoff is going in this week. Waiting to here when the deck will be built. :/ So close but so much time do. Slowly starting to pack. Did you choose a splash back tile yet? GJ Gardner Modified Coolum 277 viewtopic.php?t=83643 Re: Building our first house with Aspect Homes Qld 114Feb 02, 2017 11:53 am The driveway looks massive. I think it's around 150sm. Irl it doesn't look quite as big. I never really knew how expensive driveways were until we got one. Lol I do love a concrete driveway though. Well just have to save for a while before we can make it to the road. The carpet is awesome. We went with the super plush in the media so the kids can just lay on the floor. The carpet in the media is getting replaced next week because the two pieces are two different colours. Sounds like it's going to be a fight between the carpet shop and Rep. Thankfully the shop is on our side (for once). I want to have a quick look in another tile shop before I commit to the splashback tile. Such a procrastinator. I went out to the house on the weekend and vacuumed it, as the floors were really dirty. even though it was 37 degrees, I thoroughly enjoyed as I love our flooring.
