It’s unconventional as we are laying XPS on top of our concrete slab and want to have granite stone tile floors. We are thinking of adding 75x50 treated pine between the XPS so that we have something to nail the FC sheets to other than the XPS. Also thinking the timber might help mitigate any flex the FC and XPS could have?
