We bulldozed and rebuilt, so no requirements, we just like the look (in case I hadn't made that clear!!! ) Our house had 450mm eaves to the front facade, but that was it, so we made them 600mm , and had them put all the way around ! Yes they look good, but how much do they add to the cost of the build?? Maybe people are opting not to get them and spend their money on, oh, I don't know, bricks, windows, tiles, carpet, curtains, food!!...for some people the spending has to stop somewhere!
