I'm going to vote go full strength on the walls ... Persoanlly I like white trims but if you want to stick with the Wallaby then go 1/4 strength for trims ... white ceiling unless you have high ones? What are your benchtops going to be? With the niches I would paint the edgy bits too. Re: My colours Help needed please 4Feb 23, 2009 7:45 pm Sorry Mich the last photo is of just the plaster wall no paint colours on there yet, that strip in the middle is where the plasterer has sealed the boards together.
The picture above it is of a small piece of plaster that I painted to see what it looked like with the carpet. This is what I was thinking of using on that wall in the recess and cutouts. But I dont know if I should only paint the backs of these with this feature colour and leave the side returns going into them the wallaby shade like the rest of the walls If I go half strength wallaby should I keep the same colour for the doors skirting and architrave. And should I stick with a white ceiling? White’s a good all round colour for the ceiling, especially with that nice strong feature colour. By painting the walls in half you give your kitchen a chance to stand out, but they will still complement each other. And I’d go half all the way through your house. The carpet is buy Tuftmaster its called Spring Ridge and the colour is called Galena. Its a sort of cocoa colour but also throws out a grey tinge I suppose it would change to grey or cooa by depending what you put with it Its a new one out and I like the pattern. was also thinking of maybe getting a plain twist but have had twist all the time so thought I would try something different Was going to look at some plain ones on the weekend but I think now I have found cushions and paint to blend with this maybe stick with it. Saves all the stuffing around, I must have too much time on my hands Know where your going in life............... you may already be there Thankyou so much 😀 I've decided on White on white for doors and trims, White on white 50% on ceiling and Mt buller for walls. Fingers crossed it will look OK 😀 2 7491 i had the my concreters concrete right up to the fence. I have pits all along my path, so the water tends to drain away from the house and into the pits.
